OUTDOOR STADIUM CONSTRUCTION PROJECT UPDATE
- The field turf is currently being installed at the outdoor stadium.
- The new video scoreboard has been installed.
-The additional bleachers have been installed on the north end of the home bleachers.
- The pressbox has been expanded. This project was made possible by the Southern Boone Athletic Booster Club.
The outdoor stadium construction project was made possible by voters in the Southern Boone School District approving the $3 million no-tax-increase bond issue during the April 2022 election.

The school district received its brand new 2024 77 passenger bus this week. The bus includes an undercarriage luggage compartment for school activity trips.
Standing by the new school bus are Assistant Superintendent Christy Jones and Transportation Director Kyle Foreman.
Sports physicals will be given from 4PM-7PM on Tuesday, July 25th and Tuesday, August 1st at the high school. Check-in will be at the main office. Sports physicals are for 7th-12th grade students and are $20 per student.

There's a lot of work taking place at the high school outdoor stadium. The new video scoreboard is in the process of being installed, the new bleacher addition is complete and crews are continuing their work on installing the new field turf and track.

Connor ends his incredible running career at Southern Boone. He will run cross country and track at the University of Oregon next school year.

The Southern Boone County R-I School District is pleased to announce Nick Britton as Southern Boone’s new head softball coach.
Coach Britton has been coaching travel softball for nearly seven years with an organization based in Columbia. He coached middle school softball at Southern Boone for one season. Coach Britton was the manager of the 2021 Daniel Boone Little League team which was the first Missouri softball program to reach the Little League World Series.
