Southern Boone Boys Cross Country team and Kaylin Patton, Zafaran Satterfield and Julia Volkart from the girls team compete in the Class 3 MSHSAA Cross Country Championships today at Gans Creek in Columbia. The girls will race at 9:45AM and the boys team will race at 11:15AM.

STATE CROSS COUNTRY INFO: The Class 3 MSHSAA Cross Country Championships will be on Saturday at Gans Creek Cross Country Course in Columbia. Congratulations to the Southern Boone Boys Cross Country team on an outstanding achievement! They finished in second place at the Class 3 District 3 Meet on Saturday, earning their way to the Class 3 Missouri State Boys Cross Country Championships as a team for the very first time. Team members include Brian Burns, Sean Burns, Brian Kitch, Jackson Campbell, Aidan Taylor, Wyatt Old, Tristan Duewell, Blake Schupp, and manager George Cabrerra. Also, congratulations to Kaylin Patton, Zafaran Satterfield, and Julia Volkart for qualifying for the Class 3 Missouri State Girls Cross Country Championships. They will all compete at the state championships this Saturday at Gans Creek Cross Country Course in Columbia. Tickets will need to be purchased online at https://www.mshsaa.org/Tickets.aspx.

REMINDER: The Class 2 District 4 Boys Soccer Tournament starts today with 3 games at 10AM, 12PM and 2PM. Southern Boone is the #1 seed and earns a first-round bye. The district tournament will take place at Southern Boone High School.
