The Southern Boone School District is excited to announce the upcoming College and Career Fair, scheduled for Wednesday, February 12, 2025. This event, held in the Southern Boone High School Gym, will welcome students from 8th through 12th grade as they explore a range of educational and career pathways that await them after high school.
The College and Career Fair will run from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., featuring representatives from colleges, universities, and businesses in the community. Through interactive booths and engaging conversations, students will gain insight into potential career fields, educational programs, internships, and summer work opportunities. This initiative is designed to inspire students to consider their futures and understand the steps necessary to achieve their goals.
“We are thrilled to host this event for our students,” said School Superintendent Dr. Tim Roth. “The College and Career Fair will provide a meaningful way for students to envision their futures, make connections with representatives from diverse fields, and discover opportunities available to them.”
